These chairs have beautiful carved detail all over. They have recently been reupholstered in a plush blue velvet, and really in great condition for their age. There are various nicks on the wood trim of the chairs that is to be expected with their age, but because of the dark stain finish it camouflages most of those marks. Even though these are clearly old, because of the new upholstery and the dark finish, they really have a modern updated fuel. The pictures show the velvet being kind of bright however, in person it’s a pretty dark blue. Price is for the pair.
